Rules of a dog cafe

THE RULES This is a dog-friendly restaurant, and you ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK Although we do everything we can to ensure a safe and fun visit to our Dog-Friendly Restaurant, we cannot always guarantee the unpredictability of a dog when confronted by something that startles them or causes them to react poorly. How many dogs can I bring into the Cafe? No more than TWO dogs may be brought into the café by an individual at the same time. (Some exceptions may be made for professional dog walkers / trainers / handlers) We have neighbours! PLEASE be considerate of others, and don’t allow your dog to continue barking non-stop while you’re enjoying our café. It's YOUR dog, and clean up is MANDATORY! If they have an accident inside or outside, there are cleaning supplies readily available for you to clean-up after them. You MUST clean up after your dog. It is not the job of the cafe staff and other patrons. We all like to visit with friends, etc. but no one else wants to step in your dog’s poop. If you know that your dog likes to "mark" his or her territory, PLEASE ensure you obtain a doggy diaper / wrap PRIOR to entering the dining area! (These are readily available for $2ea from any of our Staff) Please let them do their business before entering the establishment! There is a park less than ONE MINUTE away, just down the street… PLEASE allow your dog to pee / poop BEFORE coming into the Café. (…Especially if you drove here!) Regular outside bathroom breaks are always a good idea throughout your visit! No loitering We LOVE visiting with you and your fur baby, but this isn’t a park, and we've got mouths to feed! Seating is reserved for paying customers, and we cannot allow customers to hang out without purchasing from our menu. If you would like to remain after your food / drink is complete, please order something else so we can continue to operate with reasonable pricing. We are not a daycare For safety reasons, no kids under 16 are admitted without an adult. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times while in our dog café. Children should not sit on the floor, or put their face in a dog’s face. NOT ALL DOGS LIKE KIDS, SO PLEASE ASK BEFORE PETTING NOT PERMITTED INTO OUR CAFÉ: o Dog toys o External Food or Drink of any kind (Animal or human) o Female dogs that are in heat o Sick dogs (Please choose another time - even if you suspect your dog to be sick) o Aggressive dogs that show aggression towards other dogs / people will be asked to leave! In order to ensure the safety & enjoyment of our guests, disruptive or dangerous dogs will be asked to leave! DOG SAFTEY It's important to keep our visiting fur baby's safe! Keep it classy: Humping is discouraged. We will ask you to put your dog back on leash if things get too rowdy. Just like at the dog park, visiting dogs are off leash - so please only open one door at a time. We’re here to help! Please never hesitate to flag down a staff member for assistance. It's always Treat Time! Small bite-sized training treats are great, but please be extra vigilant when serving long-lasting chews & PLEASE don’t put any food items on the ground! 👍
